It has been a week since that big day we celebrate every year, New Years. 7 days later, how are we doing with those small changes we wanted to implement? We hope that the new momentum you have created continues to build one step at a time. And if you have been a bit too busy, there is no need to get discouraged…
In last weeks video, we brought up The Everyday Resolution, a way of taking our big vision for the year and simplifying it into a daily goal. What if we woke up everyday as if it was January 1st (without the after effects of too much champagne of course!). What if we had that enthusiasm and that motivation everyday, just as we often do when its the first day of the year?
Its funny how we use the calendar as an excuse to start our new desired habits when in fact we can make that same choice everyday when we wake up. This is a mindset, and like the muscles in our body, the mindset must be trained. The Lifestyle Project just wants to remind you, that today is your day to get that small win. And today is the only day we are dealt for now.
Be kind to yourself, give yourself room to breathe, and create space to take action.
Let us continue to take nothing for granted and live everyday like its the 1st of the year.
