We are living in the information era. Never before have we had such easy access to so much information . This is a great thing, it means we can learn whatever we want, from virtually anywhere we want, so long as we have access to WiFi.The Lifestyle Project sees the value in this newly found aspect of human connectivity, because it helps us understand the world better. However, in this flooded input mode of information, we sometimes forget to take action.
It is easy to read about the benefits of yoga, or meditation, but how many of us are making 5-20 minutes a day for ourselves to do some breathing or stretching? As the old saying goes, learn by doing. Taking a doing approach to learning might not be pleasant. Often there is frustration, but the benefits of slowing ourselves down will pay off huge in the long run.
