Mother nature offers the best of remedies for us all. A simple walk in nature can reduce stress, enhance mood, increase one’s health and inspire curiosity. It seems to be the purest solution to a lot of of modern problems, as it reconnects us with our origins and reminds us that although technologies are great, there are better sources of dopamine!
Unfortunately we don’t always get to immerse ourselves in nature, but The Lifestyle Project suggests that we all make a bit more of an effort to include this in our everyday lives, or at least every week.
Whether it is time you spend alone to clear the mind, or time with friends, nature walks seem to bring clarity to our lives. It could be that our city lives are riddled with distractions and noise. When we enter the woods, the sense of peace is obvious, breathing becomes easier, and body becomes lighter. Also, when we combine physical activity with natural settings, we enter into a meditative state where we are able to be more presently connected.
As we all seek to design our ideal lifestyles and tap into our potentials, lets not forget about mother nature’s inherent happiness boosters. She keeps giving with out asking for anything, and offers up endless answers to the questions that trouble us. She provides balance, and balance allows us to stick to our vision steadily.
